Work Innovation Network (WIN)

A global solution to diffuse learning in the execution of successful change

The Work Innovation Network (WIN) is an organizational community network developed to significantly increase the diffusion of learning (mistakes and successes) throughout an organization to increase competitiveness during times of major change

WIN combines the power of face-to-face and virtual networking (social networking) in a very purposeful way to leverage and apply learnings throughout an organization. The network meeting is based on sound principles of 1.Responsibility for your own learning versus “being fed” 2. Peer to peer consulting- shared feedback on case studies 3. Creating a safe place to speak the truth and make new mistakes 4. “white space” for connecting and learning from others.

WIN architects an organization as a network determining where to locate the physical nodes of the network and how to connect the nodes together to achieve the strategic outcomes. WIN overlays on the formal organization allowing people to connect together learn and leverage from one another.

WIN was first developed in Hewlett Packard to support the reinvention of many of HPs core processes including manufacturing, supply chain management and Customer service and support. The principles of WIN have been applied and many organizations throughout the world. WIN has evolved to combine both the physical face to face meetings and the virtual linkage that support global transformation and change that many organizations face today.
